Gardens Ghoullery Walk

Children's Rooftop Gardens, Fourth and Howard Streets,
San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA. September 26, 2005. As part of the
Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2005, the sixth annual
Gardens Halloween Ghoullery Walk will be held on Sunday
October 30, 2005, from 12 noon to 3 pm in the Children's
Rooftop Gardens.
This FREE event invites children ten and under and their
families to dress in their favorite costumes and join
in the high-energy, non-stop fun. Derique the Electric
Clown and storyteller Olga Loya will provide ongoing
entertainment. Activities include a costume parade and
contest, trick-or-treating, games, face painting, and
much more. Organizations in the Yerba Buena Rooftop
Garden including Zeum, the Yerba Buena Ice Skating Rink
and Bowling Center, and Mo's Grill will provide free
treats and discounts for trick-or-treaters in costume.
The Children's Rooftop Gardens are located at 4th and
Howard Streets near the Carousel.
The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, which takes place
from May through October, features over 150 events,
including classical and jazz concerts, opera, performance
art, international music concerts, dance performances,
children's programs, theater, visual arts, puppet shows,
cultural festivals, and special events.
All performances and events are free and open to the
public, drawing an audience of San Francisco and Bay
Area residents and visitors that numbers more than 100,000
each year.
