The 2002 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival Presents A Concert for Peace on Saturday, September 7, 2002

San Francisco, CA. August 20, 2002. As part of the 2002 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, San Francisco's Festival of Harps and celebrated musical guests join together for a concert that will gently commemorate the changing world since the historic events of September 2001. The FREE concert will take place on Saturday, September 7 at 7 pm in the Esplanade of Yerba Buena Gardens.

Geist - world fusion music - features Diana Stork on Neo-Celtic harp, Teed Rockwell on Chapman Stick, and Mika Scott on Percussion.
Karma Moffett will perform a Himalayan Bell Ceremony and Portia Diwa and Amelia Romano will perform a Celtic harp duo.

Free artistic and cultural programming in Yerba Buena Gardens is made possible through the generous support of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, Arts International, the San Francisco Marriott, KTB Management Group, the Four Seasons Hotel, the San Francisco Foundation, the Zellerbach Family Fund, the Fleishhacker Foundation, and other sponsors.
