San Francisco's Lamplighters to Perform
In the 2002 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival
Friday, July 19 & 26, 2002, 12:30 pm
San Francisco, CA. June 27, 2002. San Francisco's resident Gilbert and Sullivan experts, The Lamplighters, present excerpts from the rollicking funfest The Pirates of Penzance and highlights from other Gilbert & Sullivan favorites, in free concerts, Friday July 19 and 26 at 12:30 pm in the Esplanade of Yerba Buena Gardens. The FREE performances are part of the 2002 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival.
Bring a blanket, a picnic lunch, and enjoy the blushing maidens, blue-blooded Blackbeards, and bumbling policemen that make The Pirates of Penzance one of the most popular musicals in history.
